With the change in temperature Sophie appears to have an increase in secretions requiring more suctioning...just wondered if this is the case with others too?
Thanks

sorry to hear that Sophie needs extra suctioning, we haven't noticed anything with Luke, hope it isn't a long term thing.
one thing we have noticed is that there is alot of water condensing in his wet circuit tubing overnight. We don't think it happened in hospital, but we weren't there all night, so can't be sure. Do you think it could be our house is colder over night than hospital and it's causing the water to condense more?

we hope it isn't a long term thing too, maybe a teething thing, they are all coming through at once!
Re. tubes - yes definitely, we also noticed this on coming home from hospital...when it's colder in the house in winter there is more water in her tubes and much less in summer. So needs more regular stretching out etc...
hope you all getting on ok and enjoying being at home x

we find moving the tubing off the floor with help of dyls stuffed bear helps with the condensation problem in the winter, we have laminate flooring and it does get very cold during the winter nights! lots of emptying out of tubing!!
